David Ginzer

David is an experienced litigator having recently joined the firm. After graduating from law school, David began working as a public defender in the 19th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, Stuart, Florida. David gained substantial litigation experience representing indigent clients in a wide variety of criminal cases, including charges punishable by life in prison.  In 2012, he joined a highly respected firm in Stuart, Florida, where he represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of disputes, with a focus on commercial foreclosure prosecution, loan workout, and special asset litigation for a large financial institution. Most recently, David worked out of Charlotte, North Carolina, as an attorney at an international law firm, where he represented financial institutions in state and federal courts throughout the country. 

David was born in Naperville, Illinois, and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  He received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and his law degree from Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  In law school he worked as a research assistant for Professor Timothy Davis in the areas of sports law and contracts, as well as interned at Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office.  He relocated to Maine in 2018 with his wife, Meghan, and son, Connor, to be near family and continue his legal career with the firm. David is admitted to practice in Maine, North Carolina, and Florida.
