Barri L. Bloom has been a trial lawyer and litigator since graduating from Boston University Law School in 1980. She has handled criminal and civil cases in the state and federal courts of Maine and New York. Since arriving at Portland, Maine in 1984, Barri has handled a wide variety of civil cases. She has developed a practice specializing in the defense of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, liquor liability and professional negligence, including the defense of veterinarians before their professional licensing board and in court.

Barri lives in Falmouth, Maine with her husband and has two active sons, one in college and another in high school. When she is not cheering for her sons’ sports teams, she is a volunteer teacher at a Portland-area Sunday school.
