Paul was born in Boston, November 30, 1960. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1985. He was admitted to the bar in Massachusetts in 1985, Vermont in 1987, and Maine and New Hampshire in 1997 and is active in litigation throughout the New England states.

Prior to joining RWLB he practiced law for more than ten years, including a three-year stint as in-house counsel for Pizzagalli Construction Company in Burlington, Vermont. Paul's areas of focus include products liability litigation, commercial litigation, real estate and construction law.
