Born on Whidbey Island, Washington on January 27, 1979, Katie is a 2001 graduate of Colby College. Katie played soccer all four years at Colby, and captained the team her senior year. Katie graduated from Vermont Law School in 2005, where she served on the Client-Counseling Board, the Moot Court Honor Board and the National Moot Court Team. Her two-person team won the moot court competition during her second year, arguing the final round before the Vermont Supreme Court. Before joining the firm, Katie served as a law clerk to the Maine Superior Court.

Katie is admitted to practice law in Maine and Connecticut. She is a member of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the Edward T. Gignoux Inn of Court and the Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. Katie's practice includes many areas of litigation including insurance defense, premises liability and professional liability.
