Fred was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1951. He graduated cum laude from the Vermont Law School, receiving both a J.D. and a masters degree in environmental law. Fred is resident in the Bangor office of the firm and handles liability defense cases as well as a wide range of general litigation matters, including workers' compensation.

After hours, Fred is an accomplished musician playing local engagements. He also builds furniture and, with his family, built and furnished a cabin in the woods.
